Complete Antenatal & Postnatal Care

For women who would like personalised midwifery care throughout pregnancy and continued support after their baby arrives.
This package gives us the time to build a relationship throughout your pregnancy, rather than meeting for the first time when you need support. I'll get to know you, what's important to you and how you would like to be cared for.
Your care continues after birth, with familiar midwifery support in your own home during those first few weeks with your baby.
Your care includes:
- Up to 12 antenatal appointments from early pregnancy
- Routine antenatal checks and monitoring
- Individual antenatal education and birth preparation
- Time to explore your options, ask questions and make informed decisions about your care
- Support to develop your individual birth preferences
- Up to 8 postnatal home visits during the first four weeks after birth
- Postnatal checks for you and your baby
- Feeding and newborn care support
- Newborn Blood Spot screening, where required
- Continuity of care throughout your package
This package does not include attendance during labour or birth. Your birth care will continue to be provided by your chosen NHS or private maternity service.
